Other Meetings and News Items

In addition to the monthly Council meeting Council members and staff attend other local, regional, state, and federally sponsored meetings.  Council staff also organize and host meetings that pertain to planning and economic development.

Many meetings have a set attendee list and are not advertised to the public for public attendance.  Current meetings, that the Council staff have organized, that are open to the public are listed below:

Meetings


  • The Commonwealth Regional Council (CRC) meets the first Thursday of each month at 12:00 Noon at the CRC offices. 
  • In conjunction with DCR, the CRC has arranged for a Virginia Assessment Scenario Tool (VAST) Training Workshop for PD 14 locality representatives within the Chesapeake Bay watershed.  The workshop will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2012, 10:00 - 2:00 p.m. at the Farmville-Prince Edward Community Library, Farmville, VA.  Training will be conducted by Department of Conservation and Recreation representatives.  For more information on the program click here.
