Project Description — The project includes the following activities: rehabilitation of 11 homes - 2 manufactured and 10 stick built homes; demolition and clearance of 9 manufactured homes; paving of 2,800 SY of roadways; installation of 800 SY of sidewalks; and installation of 4 streetlights. - Nottoway County Eby Town VCDBG Project (Phase II)

Project Description- The project includes the following activities: rehabilitation of 12 homes - 9 manufactured and 3 stick built homes; installation of 1,150 LF of waterlines, with 2 fire hydrants; and inspection/testing of 2,325 LF of sewer line. - Town of Dillwyn VDOT Enhancement Project (Phase I)

Project Description — The project includes activities relating to a new clock plaza located within the Dillwyn Downtown areas. Amenities of the clock plaza include landscaping, crosswalks, streetlights, outdoor furniture, clock and trash receptacles. - Town of Dillwyn VDOT Enhancement Project (Phase II)

Project Description — The project includes the following activities: decorative street lighting, new and replacement sidewalks, new street signage. Crosswalks, new outdoor seating areas, new storm water control facilities, and various outdoor furniture within the Dillwyn Downtown area. - Town of Drakes Branch VDOT Enhancement Project

Project Description- This VDOT Enhancement Project included the following items, a Welcome Center, paving of parking lot, crosswalk, benches, trash receptacles, banners and welcome signs in and around downtown Drakes Branch - Cumberland County VDOT Enhancement Project (Courthouse Village)
- Total Budget — $325,000
Project Description- This project includes the following activities: feasibility study for converting an historic jail to a visitor’s center and museum, development of a schematic design and development of a design for converting the old jail to a visitor’s center; development of a walking trail; development of a comprehensive streetscape plan; enhancement of two parking lots; and a study to develop a street lighting plan, improved landscaping around the County schools, the library, and the old jail. The project area is the Cumberland Courthouse Village. - Town of Burkeville Train Station VDOT Enhancement Project (III)

Project Description — Restoration and preservation of the Burkeville Train Station for use as a railroad museum, community center, bus stop, tourist rest stop, park & ride, and stop for bicyclists along US Route 1. Phase III consists of activities relating to the interior restoration, landscaping and road system. - Moton School Museum VDOT Enhancement Grant Project (III)

Project Description- The Moton Museum Inc. is aiming to improve the accessibility to its facility by adding additional parking spaces, installing new sidewalks, and expanding the existing sidewalks; landscaping and associated activities; designing and printing brochures for the walking and biking tours, installing bike racks, installing interior and exterior kiosks, installing interior and exterior drinking fountains; and renovating a restroom to ADA standards. - Buckingham County VDOT Enhancement Project

Project Description — This project will include the following activities: construction of sidewalks, period street lighting, signage and landscaping within the Buckingham County Courthouse Village. - Town of Victoria VDOT Enhancement Streetscape Project (Phase I)

Project Description — This project will include the following activities: sidewalks and sidewalk improvements, crosswalks, streetlights, landscaping and other activities in the Town’s Central Business District. The first phase of this project will consists of the development of plans and designs for the entire project. Left over funds will go toward the construction on Phase IA. The initial phase is for improvements to a two-block area along Main Street. - Toga FEMA Fire Grant (2005)

Project Description — Toga Volunteer Fire Department, located in Buckingham County, requested funds to purchase radios, pagers and turnout gear. - Charlotte Courthouse Water Project (VDH)
- Total Budget — $1,183,256
Project Description — The Town of Charlotte Courthouse received a loan (30 years, 0%) from the Virginia Department of Health to undertake repairs to its water system. This funding is for the first phase of the project, which includes replacement of water lines along Route 40 and Route 47. The project scope of work was amended during the project to also include water line repairs on Route 645 (Evergreen Drive).
