Virginia’s Heartland is only a short distance away from major metropolitan areas such as Richmond, Roanoke, Lynchburg, and Charlottesville. US 60 and four-lane US 460, and US 15 and four-lane US 360, are several of Virginia’s primary east-west and north-south transportation corridors that run through the counties. These corridors provide direct access to four interstate highway systems: I-95, I-85, I-81 and I-64.
