The Commonwealth Regional Council (CRC) is seeking an Executive Director to lead the organization. Responsibilities: The Executive Director leads the work of the CRC, providing leadership and support to both the CRC and staff. This position will foster relationships with the 7 counties and 11 towns encompassing the CRC and community stakeholders that initiate and maintain regional programs and revenue sources for the CRC. The Director also will correspond and attend meetings with state and federal officials to maintain relationships that benefit the CRC. Under the general direction of the CRC Board, this position will promote positive and sustainable local government cooperation throughout the area of its membership. The Director, in consultation and collaboration with the CRC Board, shall dedicate him/herself to originating, identifying, and capitalizing on opportunities to form, facilitate, and enhance local and regional partnerships. The director will also oversee the creation of a new regional economic development organization for the region. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
